Benefits of Joining On A Mission.
In 2011 we are holding a Cross Clinic on March 5th with Capt Geoff Curran, and members of On A Mission will have reduced rates.
We have different group outings for members every year. Watch the website for details. In 2009 we visited Jessie Harrington’s Race yard and in 2011 the McKee Barracks..
We will hold a fund raiser in 2011 and a course walk at Tattersalls International at the end of May. Also our annual Pimms party at Tattersalls where it is good to catch up with Members and friends.
There is an Owners League and an Owner /Rider League for Members of On a Mission. This runs throughout the year with Trophies and Training Bursaries to the winners. These are presented at our annual AGM and Dinner in November. More details on our website.
Over the years we have arranged trips to international events such as European Championships, WEG, and Olympic Games. We have regularly visited Le Lion D’Angers in France in October for the 6 and 7 yr old World Championships and we meet up at Badminton. In 2010 we had a group trip to Burghley.
Sadly, owing to the financial downturn it has been agreed not to hold any further trips for the time being. However, if you need any help with trips abroad, I am happy to help if I can.
The Bursaries for the Young Irish International Riders aged 18 - 28yrs worth €4000 will be held again this year.
